Issue with language learning from an app
While many online language-learning apps have very thorough curricula, learners often struggle to find the motivation to continue their learning streak.
Less than 1% of learners finish their language curriculum
Learners do not expect to learn a full language from an app

LingoHero immerses learners into the culture surrounding the language and curates games and stories based on the language's region to introduce variety and a wider range of knowledge.

Language Level
LingoHero understands that a mobile app cannot replace in-person learning, and learners do not expect to learn a full language from an app. However, learners want to reach a basic conversation level and we will fulfill that need.
Cultural Integration
Cultural interest/significance is the most common and major reason why learners are picking up a new language so I advocated for cultural integration into every part of LingoHero.
Practical Learning & Story-Telling
The story and narrative in LingoHero immerse our learners into the world while applying realistic and context-based applications of the language.
As much as results matter, the experience throughout the journey is just as important, driving long-term user retention and retention per session.
Varied Application
Learning becomes much more enjoyable and easily recalled through practical activities (doing it).
These simple mini-games will provide variation to reduce over-repetition and keep the learning experience fresh.
