DEVELOPER, MARKETING, OPERATIONS, FINANCE, POTENTIAL MEMBERS
An organization's website is often the first or second location for new users and is used as a reference of the organization, greatly impacting user acquisition. I am working with the Game Development and Arts Club (GDAC) at UC Davis to bring more gamers and creators together through a common gate: the GDAC website.
Current Website
GDAC's current website has caused many potential members to turn away before giving them a chance due to the lack of information and attention to quality.

Revamp
The revamped website will offer information and emphasize community to potential members of GDAC's workshops, game jams, and events. It will also allow current members convenience in viewing upcoming activities.
The user interface brings a close familiarity uniquely from video games while upholding a modern minimalistic style.
“The visuals already tell me a lot about what the club is.”
“I like that it tells me when the workshop days are without looking for it.”
